  As the brace/support stretches in a bi-directional manner when in use, slits in the material open, creating an airflow path. It allows fresh air to move in and a certain amount of moisture plus heat is able to pass through, keeping the skin dry relative to other braces.

• Wrap-around: A simple but efficient design with a wrist cuff that widens into a thumb support. Also, helps in creating a better grip on the key thumb joint (CMC/MP) to improve its overall alignment and reducing slippage. Easy to re-adjust and remove depending on activity quickly thanks to good quality velcro.
  It fits most wrist sizes (127 mm to 229 mm) when the circumference is measured at the joint of the hand and wrist.
• Reinforced: Similar to a splint, a metal stay aligned with the thumb ensures support for the joint. The metal insert (stay) can be reshaped to match the contours of the patient's hand for better support.
• Minimal coverage: Has been designed with a fluid shape to only cover the necessary zone along the wrist and thumb. Improves finger and palm motion in spite of limiting the movability of the thumb joints.
